I know, I know. Igo a little overboard for Valentine's Day for my kids! But I just love any excuse to give my girls some of their favorite things. I have a stock pile in my closet of stuff for them! I usually always get something little while Im grocery shopping for them and just throw it in my closet till I have an excuse to give it to them :) I know, I know I spoil them. But I just love them to pieces!!

Nathan and I will be going out on Saturday to celebrate Valentine's Day. We are so lucky some of our best friends are coming into town to stay with us, Ben and Chrissi, so we will be celebrating with them as well! Sushi and a movie! Yes please! :)

We already exchanged gifts! I got Nathan and driving net so he can practice hitting his golf balls. Its HUGE! Holy cow! I will have to post a picture of it soon! Its ginormus! The girls got him the game Bop-It! He loved it! I also made him his favorite dinner, Sweet and Sour chicken with rice, corn and rolls. And I made so delicious dessert, Coconut Strawberry Shortcake, from scratch! Its took forever but it was sooooo worth it! Delic! Its from the cookbook Our Best Bites. If you have this cookbook, make it!!

Nathan got me Magnum Double Carmel Ice Cream bars! Yum, my favorite! And a super cute new case for my new Nook! Thanks babe!

I had a bunch of cute random pictures of the girls I wanted to blog about! They are all so cute together! I love that Jordan and Peyton love having Emme around. I figured that they would have hated having her around their toys, messing up stuff, putting their toys in her mouth but they are so so good with her. Always playing and always wanting her around. I can just tell by the way Emme's face lights up when they are around that she adores them! Loves to be around them all the time! I love hearing the things the twins say to her when Im not around. They will talk in baby talk and give her kisses and always say I love you! Its adorable! So I had to document it!

Disney On Ice: Toy Story

Santa brought the girls tickets to see Disney on Ice: Toy Story! We didnt tell the girls until the actual day we were going though. Or else they would have asked everyday for 3 weeks if they were going that day! So we waited! We had so much fun! The girls were in Toy Story HEAVEN! Its was awesome and of course, Disney did not dissapoint! Very well done show! The girls loved all of it, especially when Barbie and all her friends came out to skate! So cute! We left Emme at home with a babysitter. She would have cried the whole 2 hours if we came! She doesnt like to sit still, she has to be constantly moving! Here are so pics from our fun family night!

Everything is so dang expensive that these events so we let the girls pick out one thing, the cute little Jessie cups that came with snow cones in them! They love their Jessie cups. Hopefully we will be able to go next time Disney On Ice comes to Vegas because it was so much fun to go with them!

I hope that Nathan and I will always have this out look on our marriage. I hope we can ALWAYS be the perfect example to our 3 little girls. I hope that when they grow up and get married they will always say they hope to have a relationship with their spouse like Mom and Dad have! That would be the best feeling in the world. Empty Boxes = Most Fun Ever

The day after we got home from Indiana and I unpacked all our boxes, the girls had so so so much fun playing in the empty boxes! Seriously, for 3 days straight thats all they played with! Even Emme got in on the fun! I had to supervise when she was in them but she was all smiles! The girls were definitely sad when the boxes ripped! It was so cute watching their imaginations come to life playing in those boxes! The things kids come up with! So fun!

The Twins Birthday Tea Party

We were in Indiana on the twins actual birthday, December 7th, so my mom did a cute little tea party for them! We invited their favorite cousin Maddy(the only girl cousin they have). My mom went all out! It was adorable! She decorated the table with name tags, wands, actual antique tea cups. We had mini sandwiches (eggs salad sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly, and turkey) mini pasta salad, mini birthday cakes, mini eclairs, mini cookies..seriously she went all out! All three of the girls were loving the tea (Crystal Light). They probably had 10 cups full each! They had red lips the rest of the day! They made bead necklaces, sang songs... you name it! It was so fun! My mom got all dressed up as the crazy tea lady! Haha, love her!

We had a great Christmas this year! We focused on the girls this year! And they had a wonderful year! The twins got LOTS and LOTS of dress up! Thats pretty much all the wanted so all year Ive been stocking up on them! (I got some pretty good deals too :)) They are into Princess EVERYTHING! Its perfect since Im a Disney lover as well! I had so much fun shopping for them! Emme just got a bunch of toys! She loved everything! So excited anything I put something in her lap! She would squeeze it so hard and scream! So cute!! The girls also got a vReader from my mom(they LOVE it) and stick on earrings and a Princess jewelry box from Nate's mom! Such a great Christmas! On Christmas Eve we baked alllll day! We made white chocolate covered pretzels, pretzel hugs, the most amazing cinnamon bun caramel popcorn EVER! Seriously, you would DIE of delight! :) It was so fun! Then we had our italian dinner and watched movies and opened our Christmas pjs! I love that tradition! So cute! Then we put out Santas cookies and milk and his magic key so he can get in our house since we dont have a chimney! We said good night to Fredrick (our Elf) and went to bed!! I didnt sleep because I was so excited to be Santa again! Nate and I woke up at 6am just in case they woke up super early this year. We then crepe papered their door so they couldnt get out! (they woke up at 7am this year) When Peyton woke up she started crying because she was scared since she didnt know what it was! We then told her that Santa put it up so they wouldnt see him putting their presents out. She then said "That Santa is pretty sneaky!" haha, it was so funny!! Then the ran and broke through the paper and came and saw their presents! They stopped in their tracks and jaws dropped! Priceless! They loved alllll their presents! Emme woke up about 45 mins later and it was so cute seeing her with her presents. She just stood holding on to the couch staring at her presents! Adorable! We then ate our special Christmas morning breakfast of cinnamon rolls, ham egg cheese hashbrown casserole (delicious), OJ and fruit. So yummy! Then we opened the rest of our presents! What a fun day! I love the holiday season! Hope everyones Christmas was wonderful and magical!

Christmas Eve 2011

We had SUCH a fun Christmas Eve this year! We spend they day together playing games, making TONs of yummy treats, watching movies, naps. It was great! I wish I would have taken more pictures during the day but we were having too much fun and I forgot to take more, I only took 2!!! Unbelievable!! :)

When dinner time came around we had our traditional Italian dinner, YUMMY!!! Then we cleaned up and went upstairs to watch Christmas movies, Home Alone(the girls favorite), Rudolf the RedNosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. While drinking hot chocolate(my favorite) and eating marshmellows! Emme enjoyed that one! Then we took baths (when I say we I mean the girls) then opened their Christmas jammies! Then we put the Emme girl to bed and put out Santa's Magical Key and cookies! After we got the girls to bed, Nathan and I watched Christmas Vacation, well I watched Christmas Vacation. Nathan fell asleep within the first 5 minutes! Typical! :) I still love you!

We had the girls 4th birthday party on December 3rd and it was so much fun! I had been planning for months and months and it turned out great! Pretty much every day the girls would ask when their "Tangled party" would be! They werent dissapointed!

The morning before the girls birthday party Nathan and I blew up about 50 balloons and put them in the girls room while they were sleeping so they could wake up to a fun surprise!! The girls LOOOOOVED this! I was standing at the door when Jordan woke up and she jumped outa bed and woke Peyton up and said"Peyty wake up, look at the sky!!" Meaning look at the balloons hanging from the fan! It was so cute! Peyton then woke up and gasped and started laughing and they immediately jumped in the middle of the balloons and started playing! What a fun way to wake up! Happy Birthday to my beautiful 4 year olds!!!!

When Nathan got home last weekend from California, he said we had to go bowling, so bowling we did! It was the first time the girls had ever been and they had so much fun!! They loved throwing and pushing the ball! They would get so excited even if they got just one pin down! So much fun! Nathan kicked our butts with like 180 score! Crazy!! The girls had a great Halloween this year. We did lots and lots of crafts and fun things! They dressed up as Rapunzel and they were in Heaven!! We didnt dress up Emme since she is only 6 months. My mom got her that pink skeleton jammies so that was her "costume". The girls are at such a fun age now. With Holidays, they know whats going on know and can enjoy it with me and Nathan.

Day one of Vacation we went to an Angels game! It was so much fun! The girls were soooooo excited! I dont know how many times a day the girls ask "Mommy, someday I play baseball?" Seriously all the time!! So when we got there we bought them a cute little pink wooden bat and a pink baseball. They were very bummed when we got to our seats because the whole time they thought they were going to get to play! So sad when they found out we were just their to watch! Anyway, it was lots of fun! It got really chilly close to the end of the game and Emme was not liking that so we headed out. The Angels lost, sadly but we still had lots of fun and we will be going to more games soon!

Labor Day at the pool

Labor Day was great this year! My Mom, Dad and Granny were able to come for a short visit! We went to my sisters apartment complex and just layed by the pool all day! It was so nice! They weather was perfect! Not hot at all! So nice just to be able to relax and not worry about my infant dying of heat stroke! Nathan was able to come home from California and play with us as well! The girls LOVED seeing their grandparents! They are so spoiled! I love my family!

Daddy/Daughter Breakfast

Since Nathan lives in California during the week, work transferred him for 4 months, he misses his girls like CRAZY! We miss him too! I dont like being a single Mom of 3! Boy its hard work! He came home this past Friday and told the girls he needed a breakfast date with them! So Saturday morning came and they all went to IHOP! (I got to sleep in, NICE.) They had fun with Daddy and Daddy let them dress themselves. Jordan has a Tangled shirt on with black pants(that are a size too small) and a skirt on top with her TOMS. Peyton have a small dress on with teal leggins and flip flops! So funny! Oh and Daddy did their hair, pig-tales! His signature! And Emme still has her PJs on! Oh I love them!

We fed Emme rice cereal yesterday for the first time and it was a huge success!! I dont know why I waited this long. We gave the twins rice cereal at 3 months old and Emme is now almost 5 months! She has been showing signs for a while that she is very interested! Im just not rushing her with anything! I was always wanting the girls to do stuff so quickly but with Emme Im taking my time and letting her do things on her own! She hasnt rolled completely over yet! And thats okay! She loves hanging out on her side but doesnt want to roll yet! Anyway, any time I take a drink she immediately tries to grab the cup away from me! Its pretty dang cute!! She looooves to drink from a cup! Im sure she will be getting baby food very soon! She LOVED the cereal! It will be a daily occurrence now! She couldnt get enough!

I know it has been forever since I last posted! We got a new computer and I can't figure out how to upload my photos from my camera to our Mac. My little disk doesnt fit into the little slot on the computer so Im just trying to figure out how to do it!! Emme is 4 months old

I cant believe my baby is 4 months old already! Where has the time gone and can it PLEASE slooooooow down! Its killing me!! We are so so lucky to have Emme in our lives! Im not joking when I say this, BEST BABY EVER! She is so good! Such a joy to be around. You can't not smile when you are around her! We just got back from her 4 month appointment, poor thing had four shots! I totally forgot her paci at home so she was a wreck till we got back! Poor thing. She weights 13 lbs 2 ounces (50th percentile) I love my chubby baby. Poor thing has really bad skin. Very bumped and so dry! She had really really really bad craddle cap from birth till about 3 months but now it looks kind of like eczema. Even lotioning her up doesnt help. The doctor said if I doesnt get better in the next couple of weeks we are going to have to do some allergy tests. That wont be a happy day. So I need to go to the store and get hypoallergenic lotion and soap. No dies or perfumes. Its going to be hard not using my johnsons lavender soap! I love that stuff!
Here are some things she loves and hates and is doing at 4 months old
-Hardly ever cries. Only cries when she is being left out!
-Loves to see what is going on with her sisters.
-She has been sleeping through the night since 3 weeks old! Now sleeps 12 hours each night (knock on wood)
-LOVES her paci!
-Loves to be held and played with
-LOVES, I mean LOVES the bath! This baby could be in the water 24 hours a day. If she isnt in a good mood or is grumpy, I just put her in her tub and its instant happiness!! So cute.
-She loves to look at herself in the mirror.
-Loves when mommy makes a fool of herself just to make her laugh!
-Love it when we blow on her belly.
-She is starting to laugh, crack herself up. So funny!
-Loves to sit in her bumbo, not for very long though!
-Loves patty-cake
-Hates to be in her car seat, still, for a long time
-Hates being ignored
-Hates belly time, most of the time
-She gets so dang grumpy if I put her to bed past 8pm. Once the clock hits 8pm she is ready for bed! Her body does not want to do anything else but go limp!
-She drools like no ones business!! I dont know if its the beginning stages of teething but holy cow shes got a lot of drool!
-Shes starting to try and roll over from her back to belly. She loves chilling out on her side with her head cocked all the way back!
-I love hearing her sweet little voice all the time! She loves to coo and scream. Melts my heart!

Utah part 2

While me and the girls were in Utah visiting my Grandma before her open heart surgery, we were able to go visit Nathan's grandparents a couple times! We LOVE them! They are so so good with the girls and they are just the most amazing people ever! The girls LOVE, I mean LOVE, visiting Great Grandma! They always have so much fun going over there! They have a really nice back yard the girls love to play in and 3 dogs that keep them company! We also got to see Potter, our old dog, and we miss him like crazy! It was so good seeing him! We wish we didnt live so far away from them!! We always love visiting! Love you Grandma, Grandpa and Amy!

Oh I love this woman! Last week she ended up having to get open heart surgery. She is still, obviously, in recovery and will be for a very long time. This took a huge toll on her and we are all praying and fasting that she will make it out of this! I cannot imagine life without this woman! Yes, she is crazy but crazy fun! I love you Grandma, I am constantly praying for you and the girls pray for you at every meal, morning and night! They love you and we all love and adore you!!! MUAH!

Utah part 1

I was able to go to Utah a couple weeks ago with my girls, Nathan couldnt get work off, so I could go visit my Grandma who got heart surgery last week. I wanted to be able to visit with her and see her before she had her surgery just incase anything happened to her while on the operating table! Im so glad I went, I was able to spend lots of time with her and visit so many other friends and family while I was there. One afternoon we went the Sera park(I dont know if I spelt that right) and the girls were in Heaven. The love parks and everything about them! Especially the swings.. there are pictures below of Peyton having a meltdown because she DID NOT want to get off the swing and she wanted someone to push her. She was not happy! It was so so hot out so it was hard being in the sun long. We were able to meet Nathan's grandparents and Aunt and Uncle there. The girls ADORE them so they had so much fun!

In one word....EPIC!

I really dont need to say anything else because this movie was SERIOUSLY EPIC! Everything about it was perfect. I cried through most of the movie. I didnt SOB like almost every person in the theatre did but I sure did cry through most of it! I had a couple girls sitting behind me literally sobbing like they lost a loved one! It was quiet comical but I knew how they felt! If I HAD to pick a favorite part it would have to have been the pensive scene. They gave Snape all the justice he needed!! Oh I bawled! Loved it, the part with him a Lily...sigh. I NEED to see this movie again and again and again!! And again!

My cousin Kendra gave me this wand that he husband made! I Love it and yes I sure did show it off while I was there!! Expelliarmus!

Thanks for coming with me again to the midnight showing Karma! We sure had fun! :)

Jordan is such a hoot! I was in the kitchen making dinner and Nathan was outside playing with the girls with sidewalk chalk and Jordan comes running inside and said "Mommy I drew a picture of you, come see!!" So I stop what Im doing to see this picture! She is so funny, what is it with kid and their stick figures! They never have bodies! Just a head and some arms and legs!! I guess to her I look like a blob with legs!

Better late than never!! Happy Fathers Day to my wonderful Daddy and to the best daddy I could have ever ask for for my children! I love you so much Nathan and thank you for all that you do for me and our 3 girls!! We truly are blessed and a better family just by having you in it!!

One day as I got stalking my million and one craft blogs I love, I came across these babies and I KNEW I had to make some, or rather have my HUSBAND make them ;) Ive been thinking lately that since we cant afford to put the twins in preschool, its so flippin' expensive, that I would start doing a sort of preschool at home. Now I have these desks and can actually make it feel kinda like school! Ive been doing a lot of preschool research on the internet and I think I got a lot of stuff to work with and Im really excited to start with the girls! Anyway, we liked the idea of the cupboard doors but then I figured the girls would break off the door and it would be kinda hard to color and draw in that big hole since it had a lip all the way around! That would be uncomfortable! Im sure the girls would have cared less but we made it how we wanted it and I LOVE them! They turned out perfect! Nathan is so proud of them and Im so proud of him for making them! We put plexiglass on top because we figured the girls would destroy the wood if we didnt put something durable like plexiglass on top! Here are the finished products!! These babies will last forever! :)

Emme's blessing day

We blessed our sweet baby girl on June 5, 2011 (duh!) and it was so great to have some many friends come! We had Nathan's family, Ron, Lisa, Becky, Brent, Grandma and Grandpa Birk, David and Courtney. And just My Dad and Granny for my family! My mom couldnt make it since she was just out visiting when Emme was born and my other sibling couldnt make it as well, sad! Im so mad I didnt even think about getting a group picture! So mad, ugh! But we had some great friends come as well! It was a fun day! After the blessing we had a small lunch of chicken salad sandwiches, mac n cheese, fruit.. YUM! So good! Nathan gave a beautiful blessing, it made me cry and Nathan choked up as well! We love Emme so so so much and we are so lucky to have been blessed with such a great baby! Love you Emme Grace!

Dad and Granny's visit

I LOVED every second of my Dad and Granny being here in Vegas with me! It was so much fun and it made me realized how much I miss being around family!! I wish my Granny could come out once a month, thats how great it was having her here! Miss that old lady badly! They were both able to be here for Emme's blessing as well, which was such a treat for me! We also planted flowers and plants, went to the park, saw movies and ate lots of food, did lots of errands...so much fun! I miss my Dad and Granny so so much! COME BACK PLEASE!!

This went on every morning :) My dad would want to hold Emme and she would snuggled right under his chin and pass out and then that would make my Dad pass out as well! So cute!!

My baby is 2 months old (on June 14th)! I just cannot believe how FAST time has gone! I felt like I was pregnant FOREVER with Emme and now its just zooming by! Why is it like that?? Not cool!
Anyway, here are some fun things about Emme that shes doing at 2 months!

-She LOVES Jordan and Peyton. Anytime the girls are playing in the same room that Emme is in, Emme is turn her head as far as she can to look at them! She always smiles and laughs when the girls talk to her too! So cute!
-Shes starting to coo back at us, not a ton but a little bit!
-Loves to smile! Especially when she wakes up in the morning! Oh its adorable!
-Just, like 4 days ago, started to giggle a little!
-Loves to be held but always loves to just lay and chill by herself!
-has a cul-du-sac in the back of her head! Her hair has been falling off except in the back :)
-she sleeps sooooooooo amazingly good for mommy! At like 4 weeks she started sleeping 5 hours and now she is up to 8-9 hours at night! We put her down at 930 or 10 and she doesnt wake till 7! Ah, bliss! Keep it up Emme girl!
-She eats every 3-4 hours
-HATES belly time, but what baby likes it!
-does not like to be in her car seat for a long amount of time. She always seems uncomfortable in it.
-at 2 months she weights 10 lbs 10 oz and shes only 21 1/2 inches long. She going to be short and stubby like her mom ;)
-she loves loves loves bath time!
-She absolutely loves her daddy! She lights up when he comes in the room!
-loves to swing
-hates to be left out. If Im in the other room with the twins helping them with something, she will wail until I come and get her and set her down where ever we are. Then shes perfectly relaxed.
-Shes just such a good baby, I couldnt ask for a better one!

These 2 seriously cant get enough of eachother. The other day Peyton had an appointment for her mole on her neck. Her pediatrician though it looks suspicious so we had to see a dermitologist. I didnt want to take Jordan and Emme with my so I dropped them off at my sisters house and just took Peyton. Everything was fine until I got Peyton in the car and strapped in. She BLEW UP!!

It was the first time Ive seen them really HATE being seperated! It was the cutest thing ever, but yet it made me really sad that I wanted to go with just Peyton. At the appointment the Doctor gave Peyton some stickers, and Peyton asked her if she could give some to Jordan. We got back to my sisters, Peyton gave Jordan and big hug and gave her her stickers! Cutest.Moment.Ever!!

Booger is in town!

My brother Brent was able to come to Vegas for a couple days to spend with us! My girls adore Uncle Booger and love when he comes into town! I HATE HATE HATE that we dont live close to family! Its awful! It should actually be illegal to live in different states as you families, seriously! Anyway, we had a great time with him! Hanging out outside, finding bugs, beating Booger up, eating ice cream! Always a good time! Love you Brento!

I dont know about you, but I needed to read these talks/quotes today! Not just today but for the past 11 months Ive needed to read them! Its been a long 11 months with my twins! LOTS of ups and LOTS of downs! Ive been praying for patience, the patience that a SAINT would have to have to deal with 3 year old twins! My poor girls probably think the only thing I do is yell. But I love them so very much! Regardless of how much I want to pull out my hair and stomp my feet and scream or the fact that sometimes I want to be the 3 year old, not them. I love them more than life! And then I realize what my real purpose in life, in being a parent is really all about. I need to find joy in the hard, frustrating times or I am going to miss so much! We learn through our trials, not the other way around. Here are some GREAT talks/quotes I came across today as I was reading talks on

(I know this is a very long post, but if you want to be uplifted today, read all the stories and quotes, you won't regret it :)

"The Lord has placed upon parents the primary responsibility for the spiritual nurturing of their children. Sometimes this responsibility falls to a single parent. My own mother was relatively young when my father died, leaving her alone with four children. But she faced her adversity with faith and courage, promising us that if we stayed on the road of truth, the end would be better than the beginning. Emme is such a good baby! Last night she slept from 10pm-5am... it was great! I, of course, panicked when I woke up thinking something was wrong but no she was fast asleep! She is 5 weeks today and weighs 9 1/2 pounds! Gaining weight like crazy! Shes loves laying on her back on the floor. If we are holding her and she starts crying the only way to make her stop is to lay her down on the ground. Its so funny! Emme is such a Daddy's girl! Nathan is obsessed with her! I would be scared to take him with me to Emme's next doctors appointment (shes getting her shots) because he would probably punch the nurse who give her the shots! No joke! He hates to hear her cry! Hes a sucker ;)

Easter Sunday

Easter was great this year! I had a one week old and my 3 year olds with me!! It was perfect!! I was able to go to just sacrament and enjoy the talks and the spirit that sacrament always brings. Im so thankful for all that I have in my life. I truly am so very blessed with a wonderful family! The best husband ever and 3 of the most beautiful girls (yes, I'm biased :). I wish I would have gotten pictures with Nathan as well but he leaves 3 hours early because he has meetings every Sunday, boo!!! So here are the girls! I even got one with me in it! Enjoy!

Emme Grace

Shes here, shes here!!!! I can't believe 9 months has gone by and I finally have my baby girl Ive been dreaming about!! She is everything and more I could ever ask for!! Perfect in every way. She already has her Daddy wrapped around her finger! Its pretty much the most adorable thing Ive ever seen. It seriously melts my heart. I never thought I could love my husband anymore than I already did but boy was I wrong!! This little girls, all 5 days old of her, has already been such a blessing in our lives! I just cant get enough of her! I love being a mom and I love having an infant again! I wish it didn't go by so fast! I need to enjoy every minute, waking minute, even if its 2 o'clock in the morning! Having just one baby has been sooooooo great! I was expecting the worst but its been so fun to just focus on her and only her! She is going to be so spoiled with love its not even funny. Well she already is but its just the beginning.

This is me in all my 38 week glory.... swollen glory that is!
4 more days till my baby girl gets here!!! Oh we cannot wait!! We find ourselves sitting in her room just waiting, wondering what/who she is going to look like, what color eyes, whose nose, what color hair, how much she'll weight! On and on! We pray that her lungs will be devoloped on Tuesday, Im getting an amnio that day to check and if her lungs are mature then I will have my c-section on Thursday morning(as long as they are developed)! We are doing it a week and a half early because my doctor is going out of town for Spring Break and that week is my actual due date. Hence the amnio! Im not happy that I have to get another amnio, I hated getting on with the twins but I gotta do it! So please pray for us and that she is cooked :) If shes not cooked then I just have to wait and have a doctor I DIDNT see for 9 months deliver her! Not what I want! Oh well, doctors have lives too, right?? I guess so!

Please, please, please baby girl be cooked for mommy!!!!

I love these pictures of the girls kissing my belly! They do it all day everyday and they talk in the "microphone" (my belly button) all the time to tell the baby that they love her. Its the most adorable thing ever!! The girls are so excited for a baby sister! I think they are going to do great! (hopefully!!)

Seriously, having two 3 year olds at the same time is soooo hard at some times! So much drama, their WORLD is always ending... they have it so so so hard!! This is what I deal with on a daily basis! Dont get me wrong, boy do I love my girls, but I am so hoping that the day they turn 4 they will be perfect angels!!! I can only hope though!

Then I have days like this.......

...when they are PERFECT angels! Seriously, today they have played so well together. From the time they woke up to now, nap time, they have been so good! I only get a day like this once a month so its nice to get things done when they are perfectly content playing in their room all day together with their toys!! I LOVE seeing them play together and expand their imagination! Such a joy!

Ah, such a beautiful sight! Im so glad my friends and I are doing freezer meals!! Its so fun getting together and swapping our meals and its so great seeing all the meals in my freezer just waiting to be gobbled up!! Im excited I have 12 meals that I will be able to just throw in the oven when my baby girl gets here! The LAST thing I want to worry about with a newborn is cooking!! I so wish, dream I had a freezer in my garage so I could stock up on more meals but alas, this is all the room I have! I am so grateful though!! This will be such a HUGE help! Thanks ladies for being so great!!

Grandpa Chuck

Today was a sad day for our family! My sweet, wonderful, amazing, beautiful, funny, loving Grandpa passed away today! My Dad said he passed away peacefully which makes me feel a little better but still, the thought that he isn't with us here anymore just makes my heart hurt! I love being a member of this Church, just knowing that I WILL see him again and that he IS in a better place right now with our Heavenly Father, makes all of this easier to bare. I love that he is with my little girl right now, telling her the greatest stories and how much she has to look forward too. And most of all that she is being born in an amazing family! I just KNOW he is talking up his family! That was his number one! He loved his FAMILY!
I have the most wonderful memories of him. He really was the perfect Grandpa to all of his grandkids. Here are a few things that I loved about this man.

-He never missed a basketball or Volleyball game of mine, NEVER! Except if he and Granny were in Myrtle Beach!
-I loved being able to hear him and Granny yelling from the bleachers at my games saying "Do it TK!" It always made me play a little harder!
-I loved being able to run up to him after my games and wipe my sweat all over him!! Oh he loved it :)!!! (I know that sounds weird but it was something he I and loved, it was like a game to us!)
-I loved that he would always get so excited when he saw me! Even if I saw him everyday, he always made it feel like it had been weeks since he last saw me!
-I loved when I was little he always tried to make me never grow up! He'd give me "magic" pills and "magic" potions to try and keep me 4 years old. (and boy do I wish I was still 4 years old!!)
-I loved the stories he would tell us grandkids to try and scare us!
-I loved that he LOVED his family! Everyone that knew him KNEW that family was the most important thing to him in his life!
-I loved French Fry Sundays at his house. He would always be sitting in the same exact spot at the kitchen table with his back to the door..so when I would walk in he couldnt see me and I would ALWAYS mess up his hair and make it stand up as high as it could!! (I have a picture of this SOMEWHERE!!!)
-I loved that he was such a hard worker! He never wanted to give up on anything, regardless of his age!
-I loved the man he made my Dad, I wish I could thank him one last time and tell him that my Dad was and still is the greatest Dad in the world and I know he had a whole heck of a lot to do with that!
And I love that he was NEVER EVER afraid to show his love for me! Didn't matter how young or old, public or private, he always made sure to let me know how much he loved and missed me! And I hope and pray that he knew and still knows how much I love and adore(d) him!
I love you so much Grandpa Chuck! You WILL be greatly missed by so many people! You touched so many peoples lives and because of you, your legacy are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Thanks for being so strong and accepting the gospel to better the lives of all of us!! I love you SOOOOOO much!! You will be greatly missed! (but never forgotten)

31 weeks!!!!

Finally, Im in the 30's!! I only have, possibly, 8 weeks left (since I will have a c-section.. my Dr will take me a week to 10 days early). My next appointment is March 1st and I'm very excited for this appointment because 1.) I, hopefully, will be able to schedule my day to deliver and 2.) I get an ultrasound so I will get to see our Baby Girl!!! I am extremely excited for this! I haven't had an ultrasound since about 20 weeks and I have been dying ever since!! Its so hard coming from a twin pregnancy then having a singleton baby because with twins, I got to see them (ultrasound or heart monitors at the Perinatologist) every 2 weeks!! So, to say the LEAST, I have been going crazy not being able to see her!! So I am SUPER SUPER SUPER excited!! :) (as you can tell!!)
Im finally feeling better! It's been a LONG time coming!! Ive been SUPER sick since November! Not the nausea and all that junk, that passed when I was about 16 weeks thank heavens! I got a really bad chest cold at the beginning of November and I've had it ever since!! No joke! Coughing horrible, congestion, headaches, earaches, ALL of the above. Its been miserable! And in those 4 months, I got the flu! Threw up 13 times in one day!! Thank heavens one of our closests friends here is a doctor! I called him up and asked if he could give me an IV! Man, those work wonders!! So, its been a rough 4 1/2 months! I loving that Im feeling great right now! Other than getting exhausted very easily, I am actually enjoying pregnancy right now! But we will see how long it lasts!! Cross your fingers it lasts till the end!! I sure hope so!!
This baby girl is SUCH a mover!! She catches me off guard all the time!! I feel like I am pregnant for the first time because this pregnancy has been different in every single way you can imagine(other than getting fat)! I felt the twins move but it was always very suttle and slow movements since they didnt have very much room! But this little girl CANT stop moving!! Summersaults, cartwheels, headstands.... you name it, shes doing it!! Its crazy! But I absolutely love it!! The only thing that is a little uncomfortable is her hiccups!! Man, she gets those all the time! And she is sooooo low its very uncomfortable, just because they last for so long!
I cant believe I'm in the single digits now(week wise)! I feel like this pregnancy has DRAGGED but Im so glad Im almost finally there!! We are all, Jordan and Peyton included, so so excited for her to get here! I love the girls and how they LOVE her already! Anytime I sigh or say ouch, the girls are always asking "what did the baby do" "Is the baby okay?" "When will she get here" Oh its adorable! Peyton ALWAYS says "Im going to help clean the pee-pee and poo-poo, and help feed her and put her to sleep" She is definitely the mommy of the two! She is going to love having a baby sister(I hope at least :)).
Well, heres to the last 9ish weeks!!! We love you Baby Girl and CANNOT WAIT for your arrival!! MUAH!

The girls 3rd birthday!

Ive been SUCH a slacker when it comes to blogging! Ive been so busy, so sick and have had sick kids for the past 5 months it feels like! Well it doesnt feel like it, it HAS been a crazy 5 months! Anyway, the girls turned 3 YEARS OLD on December 7th! I cannot believe I have 2 3 year olds, seriously, Im a little confused as to when/how and why this happened! It goes by so fast and I know all you moms out there can agree! You feel like you are pregnant forever with your kids but once they are here time speeds up!! Makes me sad! We had a fun day celebrating their birth! We had a big party for them, ALL their little friends came over. We had about 14 kids here total so thats a success and Jordan was in HEAVEN!! She LOVES her friends and loved having them at her house! My poor Peyton woke up that morning SUPER grouchy and whiny so an hour after she woke up she asked to go back to sleep so I took her to her room and laid her down the she passed right out. This was around 9am or so. The party didnt start till 12 and Peyton slept till 1230. When she woke up she had 103.7 fever!!! She was miserable! So we had to keep her upstairs the whole party! We would ask her if she wanted to go open presents or blow out candles and she was just start crying and say no! My heart was literally breaking!! I felt so bad! Jordan on the other hand was loving all the attention. She got sang Happy Birthday to twice by herself!! She better not get use to it, it will probably be the only birthday that that happens! And she had all the undivided attention from Grandmas, aunts, grandpa and all her friends! She was loving life!! We are so lucky to live where we do and have such amazing friends here in Vegas. So thank you to all of you who came and spoiled my little girls! Jordan had to wait to open presents till Peyton woke up which was around 730ish! She was going crazy looking at all those gifts for that long! But when Peyton woke up she was READY to open some gifts!! Oh, and that was the end of Peyton's "sickness" she only had the fever for a couple of hours, slept for more hours and was cured!! I was so thrilled it didnt last longer! I know its because of the Priesthood blessing my wonderful husband and his Dad gave her! So touching!! I love my church!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Definitely wrapping paper! When I think of gift bags I think of birthdays!

2. Real tree or Artificial? Definitely artificial! The thought of having a real tree, with real bugs and what not in my house... doesnt sound so great with me! I understand ppl like the smell of real trees but thats why I got a Scentsy! haha

3. When do you put up the tree? First week of December usually after the girls birthday.

4. When do you take the tree down? Day or two after Christmas

5. Do you like eggnog? Love it!!!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Hmm.. I got an Orlando Magic starter jacket when I was in 4th grade I think and i didnt take it off for weeks! I was in love (i was a total tom-boy)

7. Hardest person to buy for? My father-in-law! I just never know what to get!!

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, a little one! The girls got one for their birthdays this year!

28. Age you discovered who Santa was? I dont really remember! Its always been a "real" thing for me, I think even when I knew he wasnt real! I love(d) Christmas time!

Yep, thats right! Nathan made another girl! He is totally out number now!! We are super excited to add another girl to our clan!! So excited! The duedate will be around April 20th so we cant wait for that month to get here! Time is just crawling by, I thought it would go a lot faster but its been pretty slow. I think its because I was so sick and thats all I thought about while my head was in the toilet! Thank heavens I feel much better now! Let the time fly!! We cant wait for our little girl to get here! Nathan and I will be fighting over it since there is only one this time! There will be a lot of fighting! I just know this little girl will be rapped around his fingers in no time!! The girls are so excited, they came to the appointment with us. They didnt really understand what was going on but now they know they are going to have another sister! They cant wait either! We dont have a name yet, we are still making lists and trying to decide. I have one that Im in love with but I dont want to commit this early and I want Nathan to make a list for himself! So we will see who wins ;) haha.

The girls wanted to help me make dinner tonight and I was making homemade chicken noodle soup! Its a recipe that the girls can definitely help me with and they loved every minute of it and ate it all up! I think because they think they made it, it made them like it even more! But boy did they like it! It was quite yummy, a little bland then the last time I made it (last fall) so I will have to make it again to get it just right!! Here are some pictures of the girls helping me with the homemade noodles, that was their favorite part. Then of them eating(they wouldn't pose because they were too busy eating. Jordy did say "Mommy Im trying to eat here!!") then a pic of my soup! So yummy!!

These 2 little girls are the most adorable, sweet, loving little girls! They are so much fun, so much work but so much fun! I have loved seeing them grow individually and as twins! They are starting to play a lot better together and they actually enjoy each others company rather than always run away from each other. I love seeing their imagination come to life! Its a great joy of mine to see! They love to act like fairies, alligators and mommys. Peyton loves to act like a little Mommy to her baby dolls. Its pretty much the cutest thing ever. She will put them to bed, time out, feed them, its adorable! Jordan likes to put Daddy in timeout but then give him some hugs and kisses when he is allowed to get out of time out. They are just so adorable! I cant believe they are going to be 3 in a month and a half! Time surely flies. They talk about the baby in mommys belly all the time and cant wait for it to get here! I am surely blessed to have the life I do, to have an amazing husband who adores his kids and wants to play with them all the time and who loves me for who I am and treats me like a queen! I just want to give my gratitude to my Heavenly Father for blessing me so! I have so much love in my heart and I cant wait, CANT WAIT, for our new little baby to get here so it can feel the love from its new family!! I love you Jordan Joy and Peyton Ann. And I love you Nathan for being the man you are!! MUAH!

The other day me and the girls made some ghosts to hang on our tree outside! The girls had SOOOO much fun making them! They were definitely in heaven. Everytime we drove by them they were make sure I looked at them and every time we left the house they had to say good bye! They are so cute! They are absolutely LOVING Halloween! I am so so so very sad that Halloween lands on a Sunday this year! Its the first year that they actually understand what is going on and they dont get to go trick or treating! So sad! At least they have trunk or treat at our ward and a couple of little parties to go to as well! Anyway, here are the ghosts! I was so sad because they were so cute on the tree outside then 5 or 6 days later it RAINS! It never rains here, so they are destroyed!! So sad!

Ah yes, it is true! We are pregnant with baby number 3(yep, just ONE) and we are sooooooo excited for this new adventure in our lives! I'm sure everyone has already heard the news via facebook or by other means but I wanted to put it on my blog as well! We are due on April 27thish. I will probably go a little early via c-section since I had one with the twins. So that only makes me about 10-11 weeks. I can never keep track of the exact week I'm currently at! I have been so so so sick and it has been the pits BUT I have the most amazing friends in the world here and they have taken great care of me, bringing me meals, offering to watch the girls! Such amazing help and I am so blessed to be in a great ward and know so many phenomenal women. So thank you to those who have helped out in so many ways, I owe you big time!
My mom was able to be here all last week to visit and I think I would have died without her! Last week was my worst week yet. I was throwing up 4 times a day and couldn't keep anything down, lost 10 pounds. By Wednesday I had to make a trip to the doctors to get a couple IVs in me since I was so dehydrated! I couldn't even keep water down! Even when I was done with the IVs, I walked out of the office and was puking on the side of the building! Oh that wasn't a fun day! My mom was able to take care of the girls, meals, cleaning the house, basically EVERYTHING that I couldn't do! She was such a blessing that week and I love that woman more than life itself, so thank you mother for all the help you gave us! We love you!!
Anyway, we couldn't be more happy for this baby to be apart of our family! I know everything I am going through will be completely worth it in the end!!
I already love my little bean!

This past weekend Nathan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! What a great weekend it was! We got tickets to go see Phantom on the strip and it was so great!! We had front row seats!! So cool! It was such a fun experience to be able to see it live! Love the music! We also went to TGI Fridays, we had a gift card from my sister, thanks KK! Then we came home to a house full of our friends and spend I dont know how many house laughing and just talking! I miss being able to hang out with friends for hours doing nothing! So great! Anyway, it was such a great weekend! Nate and I will never forget what such a great 5 year we had! I love you so much Nate, thanks for making it such a special experience! You truly are the best!! LOVE YOU!

OH! And look what he got me!!! :) I was a happy girl! Sadly, I had to return the sandals... I have wide feet and these were tiny!! But I kept the other ones! I love them!! Oh and he got me Heroes season 4. We are in the process of watching it!! I love that show, im so so so sad it got canceled!! Bummer!

Favorite Kids Books

I've been wanting to do a blog about this for a while but just havent gotten around to it! I finally have time where I can do it! The girls are napping, just got done working out, folded laundry, did the dishes, took a shower and the girls are still sleeping so I figured I'd finally do this post! So, I dont know about all of you but I LOVE books! LOVE LOVE LOVE Books. Not just my own kind of books but I love kids books! I'm always on the look out for a new book for my girls that I just know that they will love and that I will enjoy reading to them as well! There are so many to choose from out there now-a-days its hard to decide what my kids would like, hence the point of this blog! Here are a list some of my girls favorite books!

(those are the Leap Tag Junior reading systems and my girls LOVE it. They got it for Christmas last year and it still hasn't gotten old to them! Definitely a great present for a kid who loves to read!)

Skippy Jon Jones
I Love this series of books!! They are soooo stinking cute and my girls are always asking me or Nate to read SkippyJon Jones to them! I would definitely recommend these books to friends and they are fun to give as gifts as well!

The Napping House
SUCH a cute book! When I first looked at this at the book store I immediately put it down and walked away. Even without opening and reading it. The cover just didnt sell me. I came back to the book store a while later and it was on a stand again so I picked it up, took it over to the table and chairs and read it to my girls and fell in love with it! It is adorable and my girls pretty much already have it memorized from reading it so much!

The Stinky Cheese Man
This was a favorite of mine growing up so I decided that when I had kids this would be a staple in our house! My girls love the stinky cheese man and always try and run as fast as they can just like him! So cute!

Millie Moo and Rainbow Rob
These are two of the first books I bought when the girls were little. Covers were cute and they both have touch and feel stuff in them. They are both adorable fun to read and my girls still ask me to read them!

The Grouchy Lady Bug and The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Enough said. These books are so popular and well known that I dont even need to say anything more! Such cute books!

The Itsy Bitsy Spider and How do I Love you?These 2 books I just picked up at Wal-Mart one day browsing the childrens book section and they are sooooo cute! My girls love the Itsy Bitsy Spider story and I love the How do I love you? book. They are both fun/cute reads!

And of course, you have to have your disney collection if you are a huge Disney fan like I am! My girls are OBSESSED with these books, I sometimes cant get them away from them! I guess its a good obsession to have right?? I think so!

There are soooooo many other books that I have that I love to read to the girls but I just thought I would highlight a few.

My mom sent the girls a little present last weekend and they were SOOOO excited as you can see!! Jordan's face in the first picture is priceless. She went to the mailbox with me and HAD to carry it!! She wouldn't have it any other way! It wouldn't matter if it weighted a million pounds, she knew it was for her so she had to carry! It was pretty cute!! Needless to say, the girls LOVE opening presents. I guess they better get used to it because come December they are going to be opening lots of presents! Thanks Mom for the baby dolls! The girls are obsessed and they carry them everywhere. I will catch Jordan on the couch or in the other room holding, rocking and kissing it! So cute, then she say "I love you so much, you're my favorite." Yea, to the baby doll! Pretty much the cutest think ever, really. Peyton is obsessed as well! When she is being a nightmare I always threaten to throw her baby away if she doesn't be a good girl. It usually does the trick, so thanks Mom for the great parenting supplies ;) LOVE YOU and the girls love you too!! Thanks again!

So far this horribly hot summer we have swam a ton!! If not actually in a pool then we are always at the park behind our house development that has a little water area where water shoots out of the ground. The girls love it which is a huge plus! I love my water babies!

We had a fun trip to California this past weekend to celebrate the 4th with Nathan's family! The girls LOVE all their Aunts and Uncles and especially their Grandmas and Grandpas so they were in heaven! They still ask to go to Grandmas house all the time! It was a pretty low key weekend. We wanted to spend as much time as possible with the fam since we dont see them too often. We went to a place like Chuck e cheese but its called Johnny something. It was a pizza/pasta buffet with lots of games. The girls had fun. I think the place was still a little too old for them and Peyton was throwing tantrums. She has been getting good at those lately! My patience is running low on that child! Hopefully its just a short phase and she will get over it soon! The girls also swam in the back yard a ton! They had so much fun! Grandma Lisa bought them a HUGE blow up pool that is so cool! The girls loved it! Then Sunday we went and watched fireworks. The girls loved the fireworks! Next year we will do the sparklers, see how they like those! Nathan with golfing with a bunch of his buddies Monday morning then we had a BBQ and had lots of friends over to celebrate the 4th since it was on a Sunday this year. Right after the BBQ we packed up and headed home! I have to add that my sweet husband made it home from California in 3 hours and 15 mins all because he didnt want to miss the Bachelorette! You think Im kidding?? Think again! haha. I love you Nathan!!
